Kana Hanko

Kana Hanko does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. There is no account, no analytics, and no advertising.
Your study progress — which characters you have practised, how often you answered correctly, and your settings — is stored only on your device, in the app's private storage. It is never uploaded to us or to anyone else.
You can erase it at any time with Reset progress in the app's settings, or by uninstalling the app. Progress is deliberately excluded from Android cloud backup and device-transfer, so it does not leave your phone even there.
The optional one-time unlock is processed entirely by Google Play. We never see, receive, or store your payment details — Google Play does not expose them to apps. The app records only whether the unlock is active, and re-checks that with Google Play each time it starts.
The app works fully offline. All characters, fonts, audio prompts and stroke data are bundled inside the app itself. It contacts the network in only two situations:
Neither request includes any information about you, your device, or your progress. If you tap a link in the Resources section, it opens in your browser and that site's own privacy policy applies from that point on. Some of those links are affiliate links, which is disclosed in the app next to them.
There is no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, and no third-party tracking of any kind in this app. The only third party involved is Google Play, which handles app distribution and payments under Google's own privacy policy.
The app requests internet access, which is required for Google Play Billing. It does not request access to your storage, camera, microphone, location, contacts, or advertising identifier.
Kana Hanko is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new "last updated" date.

This should stay the same address as the contact email on the app's Google Play listing — Play review checks that they match.
